Rate limits and quotas

The free tier is permanent — it will remain available after paid plans are introduced.

Exceeding a limit returns an error rather than incurring charges:

• Rate limit exceeded: 429 with Rate limit exceeded
• Monthly quota exceeded: 429 with Monthly verification quota exceeded. Contact hello@auth314.com for higher limits.

Rate limits and quotas are tracked per API key. Usage resets on the first of each month (UTC). Current usage is visible on your dashboard under Usage.
